We have looked at staying at amaroo Escape for a while now but never had a spare weekend. We decided we would go for a 6th wedding anniversary last weekend, and we are so glad we did. What an amazing property with so many extras included. We will most definitely be back!!

Escaping to Amaroo for a couple of nights was fabulous!!!!
The accommodation was so on point, with no detail overlooked. So clean, everything looked brand new. Loved the little treats. Plenty of time to unwind and experience the beauty of 'just being'.

Incredibly beautiful in everyway. The accomodation, the luxury inclusions, the use of the ATV. The property itself is a piece of paradise. Words are not enough, go see for yourself and you will experience glamping at a whole different level.

Absolute beautiful location, immaculate lawns making for the perfect river front backdrop. Swimming holes were simply amazing & water temps perfect & very refreshing. Super peaceful & quiet & loved the use of the ATV'S to explore the property. Accommodation was superior luxury with high attention to detail. Every convenience was available at your fingertips. Highly recommend A+ and would visit again for sure. Hosts were super friendly, welcoming & genuinely caring.

There is absolutely nothing that wasn't thought of and provided for. The attention to detail is unrivalled. The inclusions were way beyond expectations and surpasses most, including five-star establishments. The warm hospitality and welcoming orientation during our visit was exceptional.

Beautiful loved it!, the room we stayed in was lovely it had everything we needed & the sound of the running river was beautiful , the bed was so comfortable best sleep we’d had in ages & just being so close to the river was divine., our favourite part was the UTV and going for a swim, it was raining a little but that didn’t stop us ,it actually added to the experience, the land we got to adventure on was absolutely beautiful we were buzzing with Joy. Sue and Jim were so kind and welcoming when we got there
& then they gave us the space and privacy to enjoy their property & we appreciate that so much. Loved our stay and can’t wait to do it again 🙂

Jim & Susan are awesome hosts - beautiful location & had a relaxing long weekend trip away. Every little thing is thought of & provided, we loved sitting right on the Manning River & embracing nature, would recommend to anyone.

We have just had the most fantastic weekend at Amaroo Escape. I wish we had booked a longer stay, and can’t wait to return. Jim and Susan have created an amazing retreat from the world and were so welcoming. Loved all the thoughtful extras that are included. I don’t think I have ever had a better stay anywhere - we couldn’t find a single fault. The tent and surrounding grounds were spotless! We loved the UTVs. Every need has been anticipated. Highly, highly recommend!

My trip to AMAROO escape was absolutely amazing.
Jim and Susan were so welcoming and attentive without being intrusive.
The location is incredibly beautiful and the tents were amazing, but it’s the little touches that make it truly unique.
A candle in the bathroom, marshmallows in the drawer and a bottle of bubbles on arrival.

My husband and I had an amazing couple of nights in this fabulous location. No stone has been left unturned with impeccable attention to detail to ensure a stress free and luxurious stay. Jim and Sue go out of their way to supply all that is needed to enjoy their beautiful property. I highly recommend using the UTVs to explore the property and refreshing swimming holes. We intend to return as soon as possible and can’t recommend this enough.

Absolutely amazing accommodation and location. Highlights are being able to see a family of Platypus in their natural habitat every evening. Also having the use of the ATVs to explore the property was fun too. Will definitely return.

Such a special spot hosted by special people. Greeted by Jim on arrival who gave us a speedy yet thorough tour so we could get to enjoying ourselves. We got changed and quickly went and jumped on an ATV to go in search of a swimming hole and a what a hoot! The rapids were great fun and getting there just as much fun, including being chased by a cow. When we returned we noticed Susan's attention to detail leaving nothing to chance, we absolutely had everything we needed. The rain then made us relax for the rest of our stay but it was no bother and the cosy tent, a very comfortable bed, a bit of cooking and just enjoying the wildlife made it an incredible experience. We can't wait to go back.

Absolutely beautiful location and attention to detail. Jim & Sue are wonderful hosts, loved all the little extras from bread, butter, chocolate and even to the oil and spray. The bed is amazing to sleep on! The serenity and views are breathtaking!! Cannot fault this place at all!! Will definitely be back.

Wow!!! What a beautiful spot to enjoy a getaway and recharge!!! No “Amaroo” stone has been left unturned!! Everything you could possibly think of has already been thought of!!! To hear only wildlife with no white noise in the background was bliss!!! Competitive board games, cricket and quoits made for a memorable holiday experience!!! This is our new getaway from life. We have been here twice, and we will be back again and again. Jim and Susan are the most wonderful hosts. There are no words for how peaceful and relaxing our time is there. 5 stars is not good enough for Amaroo Escape. 10 stars and more. 💜💜💜

What a beautiful place. Everything was perfect, no doubt because the owners have put so much thought and care into every aspect. We booked all 3 'tents' for 2 days and had an unforgettable stay.

We had an incredible getaway at this beautiful riverside retreat. The attention to detail was exceptional, creating a peaceful and calming environment that truly rejuvenated us. The views were breathtaking, and the tranquility was unmatched. We were fortunate to enjoy a clear sky filled with lovely stars, enhancing our experience even further. This place is a perfect escape for anyone seeking relaxation. Highly recommend!

Heaven on earth we stayed as a group of six using all three tents was a magical 3 days with family , couldent have asked for anything more was perfect

We had the most amazing weekend getaway at Amaroo! Susan and Jim have thought of everything, providing wonderful inclusions to make sure your stay is just perfect. The location is top notch, away from everything providing the most relaxing stay. We will definitely be returning!

We have now stayed three times at Amaroo. We cannot get enough of the peace. After suffering two massive losses, this visit is just what we needed to recharge and heal. Yes we met the cows seen the platapus near our tent and the other water hole! Seen a koala swimming and lots of bird life and wallabies so our vist was complete!

Amaroo Escape is the best glamping experience I have ever had. The accommodation was spectacular, the grounds beautiful and every detail was thought of. Jim couldn't have been more attentive, friendly and helpful.

My wife and I stayed at Amoroo Escape from July 26, 2024, for three nights, and it was an amazing experience. The property is incredibly serene, with beautiful riverside views and delightful bird chirping. The luxury glamping experience exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed exploring the property using the electric UTV, which was a lot of fun. Sussan and Jim’s hospitality was outstanding—everything was well-organized and thoughtfully arranged. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

I cannot rate my stay at Amaroo Escape highly enough. From the warm and friendly greeting at the front gate from Jim and Susan upon arrival, to the property itself. The cows, the river, the hammocks, the outdoor fireplace and the UTV's. The accommodation is catered for down to the finest details and Jim and Susan have the most wonderful gift of hospitality! It's the best getaway I've had in years.

Absolutely perfect in every single way, the only downfall was that we had to leave😂!

We had a wonderful weekend at Amaroo escape and couldn't recommend it more to anyone visiting Gloucester region. Jim & Susan were beautiful hosts. The glamping tents were beautiful and amenities included in the tents were amazing. Will definitely be going back to stay one day soon.

Firstly the service provided by Jim and Sue was amazing, both so welcoming and helpful. The room was very nice, not a single thing to complain about. The location is sooo lovely and we didn’t want to leave 🙂

Cannot recommend Amaroo Escape highly enough! Amazing attention to detail in the “tent”, equipped with everything you need and more. Luxury in a stunning location right on the river. The electric 4-wheel drive carts were loads of fun to explore the property. Jim and Susan are amazing hosts we’ll be back for sure!

Jim and Susan are the ultimate hosts giving you space to enjoy your glamping experience but ensuring a warm welcome on your arrival. Amaroo left us speechless and in tears when we left.I didn’t want to go.We spent 4 heavenly days in COOINDA and cannot rave highly enough about the standard of this glamping tent,the cleanliness,the layout,the attention to detail,the generosity of the breakfast supplies plus so much more.The bed was insanely comfortable and sleeping to the sound of the flowing river was serene.The whole property was immaculately maintained by INCREDIBLE hosts Jim and Sue.The UTV car was sooo much fun for exploring the whole property.We saw so much wildlife and adored the cows.The stars at night were insanely beautiful.

Wow! had the priveledge this week of staying at Amaroo Escape as it was my 50th bday gift. What an majestic place to switch off from the outside world. We saw so much wildlif even two platypus. Both Jim and Susan are just so warming and friendly, lovely people.
And the tents were beyond our expectations.. thank you so much for sharing this little diamond with us... just absolutely georgeous. And the respect you feel from the ecosystem here is just so overwhelming. Will definately be returning here.
